Sustainable Tourism For Cape & Kantary Hotels
In 1988, Cape & Kantary Hotels made an appeal for permission to build the first hotel, Cape Panwa Hotel, in Phuket. This marked the group's first use of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), paving the way for a focused and systematic evaluation of the environmental consequences of hotel projects. The process provides an in-depth analysis of the project's effects on public health, environmental stability, and the local ecosystem.
Founded in 1971, SOS Children’s Villages Thailand offers family-based care to children who have lost their parents or lack familial support. The organisation currently cares for over 700 children across five locations in Thailand: Samut Prakan (Bang Pu), Songkhla (Hat Yai), Nong Khai, Chiang Rai, and Phuket. By fostering a secure, nurturing, and compassionate environment, SOS Children’s Villages ensures these children receive the essential care and support needed for their development and well-being.
