The Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation Funds Over 1.7 Million Baht for Pharmacy Scholarships

     Tirapongse Pangsrivongse (4th left), Chairman of Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation, donated for the 3rd consecutive year over 1,797,265 Baht to 23 funds to support pharmacy students and Thai pharmacists in scholarships and pharmaceutical research. Professor Dr.Chomchin Chantaraskul (5th left), The Foundation’s Executive Director, graciously presented the scholarships in this ceremony at B.L.H. Building, Wireless Road, Bangkok.

      Established in 2016, The Doctor Kasem Pangsrivongse Foundation aims to fund development projects in all fields of pharmacy, international symposia and scholarships to promising students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds; short course overseas studies, inviting eminent academics from overseas to share their knowledge and experience with Pharmacy students in Thailand; career development projects and R&D, etc. The Foundation, with a sinking fund of 100 Million Baht donated by Tirapongse Pangsrivongse, will allocate an annual sponsorship and scholarship over 20 years.
